My 2 year old grand daughter just started dance. She is very independent and insists on doing everything herself. This backpack is just the right size for her ballet slippers and tap shoes…plus a few other items she insists on taking with her. It fits perfectly allowing her to put it on herself. I have purchased the soft-body dolls made by this company in the past and am always delighted at the quality. Highly recommended. FYI: the backpack is about 12" long and 8" wide; the little doll is about 12" long as well.OK. So it's about three weeks after I posted the above review and Amazon is showing a couple of these dolls-with-backpacks at an unexpected lower price. Can't pass that up. You can only buy two at that price so that's what i did. Two more little children are going to receive the best gift this Christmas! They arrived today and are the same high quality.
