This has been a huge help since I broke my left collarbone.. the width of the straps makes it so comfortable to carry weight even on my bad shoulder.. The backpack is able to completely fold into itself in that lower rectangular pocket and even seal itself, making it easy to transport empty.. but while it has stuff in it.. I love being able to use that lower pocket for my sunglasses sleeve.. I can reach back to the backpack into that pocket without having to take the pack off my back at all.. very travel friendly.. and the zippers are really strong
