My husband travels often and carrying a shoulder strap bag was beginning to cause him pain in his neck and arm. He wanted a more comfortable, but still professional bag, that he could take as carry on. We did a lot of research in our price range and this bag was the correct size with comfortable straps and a professional look (others mentioned it did not look like a college student's backpack as some do). Additionally, reviewers noted that the bag did not have some of the issues of other bags in its price point, such as off odors, leather color that changed after getting wet, or stiff straps. We've had the bag for almost 3 months and it looks great, and though it's early on, it seems to be of great quality and is comfortable to carry, so we're hoping it will last and stay in great shape. Very happy with this bag.Update after almost 1 year: The bag still looks great AND functions perfectly, however my husband did have some issues with lighter work shirts getting some color rub from the leather straps. Oxyclean will take it out with a short soak if regular washing doesn't, but just passing it on that if you get sweaty or it rains and the leather or your clothes get damp, there may be color transfer from the leather to light colored clothing. Not a dealbreaker for us, but thought we'd mention it in case it would be for a potential purchaser.
